"Text me when you get home" Small Plate
We are pleased to introduce a new project in support of Donne per Strada, created in collaboration with Otro Amor and Bon Vi Gioielli.
"Text me when you get home" is a phrase that every woman or individual affected by gender-based violence hopes to hear upon returning home. This plate was designed as a visual message, an invitation to reflect on the importance of solidarity and awareness around personal safety and gender-based violence.
Funds raised thanks to the projects will support the creation of "Viola Points", designated commercial locations that are specifically designed to support women and people facing situations of discomfort, with the goal of creating a concrete positive impact in women's lives.
In order to obtain this, DonnexStrada has also designed the virtual app VIOLA, a mobile application that supports women when they're walking back home and need someone to call in case something happens. A concrete effort to build a more inclusive and secure future.
The "Text Me When You Get Home" plate, with a diameter of 16 cm, can be used as a catch-all tray, a small plate, or displayed as wall decor thanks to a hole on the back.
